J.S. Fearnley

As a fan of both cerebral pursuits, such as Scrabble and anagrams, and physical ones, such as the game of hockey, J. Steven Fearnley is a unique individual. He's equally adept at putting pucks past goalies as he is at pointing out that the letters in the word GOALIES rearrange to be a very descriptive "So agile."

But perhaps more important than his eye for word-play is his eye for discerning fine antiques and estate jewelry. It was well developed even before he became a GIA Graduate Gemologist in 1982. And with over 20 years in business for himself, Steven has become quite a master at his craft. Incidentally, it should come as no surprise that the letters in MASTER AT HIS CRAFT rearrange nicely to "Ah, 'tis Mr. Artefacts." His excitement at finding that alternate spelling of "artifacts" (worth 14 points) is only surpassed by his excitement at owning a truly rare and unique piece of antique jewelry.

Chances are when Steven isn't scoring goals or winning word points you'll find him traveling. From Canada to California to Vegas, Florida and New York City, Steven's travels are not only his inspiration but his key to the perfect pieces he finds. So you can be assured his attention to detail does not go unnoticed at finding that rare piece is what he is best at.

David McKeone

David McKeone
Few people are lucky enough to have the one true love of their life lead them to another one, but David McKeone was fortunate enough to have this happen to him twice! It all came about from years of buying fine jewelry for his beloved wife Debby. David is proud to admit that he knows Debby so well that he would visit J.S. Fearnley and purchase pieces that he knew would bring a smile to her face. (42 years of smiling in case you were wondering) Accomplished in his professional life, and with a fine eye of his own, this led him to another love in his life by becoming a partner in the firm of J.S. Fearnley.

Retirement was boring and his passion for fine jewelry has become a reality and now travels the globe with J.S. Fearnley finding treasures near and far. David has been able to combine three more things he loves dearly (not including Debby, his children and his grandchildren, of course): travel, fine dining and bringing smiles to the faces of clients and friends with equally exceptional jewelry around the world. Pairing the perfect wine (Chateau Haut Brion) loud laughter and a vintage Patek Philippe watch, what's not to love, it is a dream that has become a reality for David.

So, whether it's a perfectly seared rack of lamb, or an expertly crafted Victorian bracelet, you can rely on David's unwavering eye for quality, just ask Debby.
