Silver-topped gold, natural pearl, seed pearl and diamond necklace, late 19th century, designed as two plaques of openwork scroll design connected by three goldlink chains set with 8 seed pearls measuring approximately 3.7 by 5.0 mm., and 6 collet-set old European-cut diamonds, the plaques set with six natural pearls, 101 old European-cut diamonds and 25 rose-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 6.75 carats, gross weight 29.0 grams, completed by a later added link chain, length 16 inches, together with detachable brooch fitting and screw, pendant measures 4 by 1 3/4 inches, with French assay marks. With fitted box. Accompanied by SSEF report no. 77662, dated December 10th, 2014, stating that 6 pearls are natural saltwater. The approximately sizes are 8mm, 2x6mm, 3x5mm.
