Suite of 18 Karat Gold, Platinum, Emerald, Ruby and Diamond Necklace, Brooch and Earclips by Mauboussin, Paris, 1962 to 1965

18 karat gold, platinum, cabochon ruby, carved emerald and diamond suite by Mauboussin, Paris, 1962 to 1965; comprising a necklace of floral design supporting an articulated garland, set throughout with 49 carved emerald leaves, 241 round diamonds weighing approximately 19.25 carats, and 2 pear-shaped and 51 oval and round cabochon rubies weighing a total of approximately 75.00 carats, gross weight 138.0 grams, length 14 1/2 inches, pendant section measuring 2 by 3 inches, unsigned, with French assay marks; a brooch of similar design set with 4 carved emerald leaves, 61 round diamonds weighing approximately 3.50 carats, and 6 round and oval cabochon rubies weighing approximately 15.00 carats, gross weight 22.2 grams, measuring 2 1/2 by 1 1/4 inches, signed Mauboussin Paris, with French assay and workshop marks; and a pair of earclips of similar design set with 6 carved emeralds, 100 round diamonds weighing approximately 4.25 carats, and 10 round and oval cabochon rubies weighing approximately 15.00 carats, gross weight 27.4 grams, measuring 1 5/8 by 1 inches, unsigned. The total weight of rubies is approximately 105.00 carats, the total weight of diamonds is approximately 27.00 carats, and the total gross weight is 187.5 grams. Accompanied by three Certificat D'Authenticite from Mauboussin dated April 10, 2012 stating that the necklace, brooch and earclips were indexed in their books with numbers 17600, 17601 and 15919 and the earclips were created in June 28th, 1962 and the necklace and brooch were created in June 28th, 1965. The necklace together with a copy of a sketch of the necklace illustrated in the German fashion magazine "Lady" from the 1960s. Accompanied by three AGL reports stating that the rubies are of Burmese origin, no gemological evidence of heat.
